School Closure Resources

Below are resources gathered for online learning during school closures in the 2019-2020 school year. Please note, not all resources will be available after the school closures end. 

Mackin Via
MackinVia is available all year on and off campus through the library. It is an e-library that offers connections to electronic books as well as databases. Mackin Via is also available through an app for smart phone and tablets.

Epic Books
Epic is currently offering free access to students at home until June 30, 2020. Educators must create an educator account, and then invite their students.

Kidtopia - Offers informational resources including games, videos, and more. Kidtopia is a free resource.

BTSB Educational ResourcesBound to Stay Bound offers educational resources including authors and publishers who offer videos, activities, and read alouds during school closures. They also offer educational websites, fun games and downloadable activities, and virtual tours.

Audible BooksIn response to school closures Audible is offering free access to audio books. These are free to listen to, and does not require a password or login information.

ABDO Online Learning ResourcesIn response to school closures, ABDO publishers are offering free online access to e-books until June 2020. There is no username or password required to view the e-books.

Junior Library Guild @ Home - JLG is offering free access to e-books to students. No usernames or passwords are required.

Tumblebooks - In response to school closures Tumblebooks is offering access to their K-6th library of ebooks until August 2020.
